One Of The Best NATO Band Shots of All Time...

Tropical NATO Perfection

This is a superb shot of a non-date Stainless Steel Rolex on a NATO strap.  In many ways, I think the dateless sub looks better on a NATO strap.  Something about the extreme simplicity.

Also, this is not a normal NATO strap.  It is a cross-braided tropical NATO.  Very cool, masculine, sporty and handsome...

Jake,

Do you know who makes these tropical NATO straps? I love my 5513 on a NATO but always thought it would be nicer if the strap was a bit thicker. This one seems perfect.

Thanks!!

Hi Leszek,

I agree. This is called a tropical NATO, but I have seen them and own some that are made from the same braided material, but without the silly NATO hardware.

In other words, the really cool braided straps use a slip-through buckle, so it looks much more like an RAF strap or just a regular one.

I don't know where to find them anymore, but if you are persistent I am certain you will find them.

Happy Holidays!!!

Jake
