Presidential Watch Sunday: President Obama Addresses The Muslim World...

Presidential Watch Sunday
An Unprecedented Look At The Presidency

All of us share this world for but a brief moment in time. The question is whether we spend that time focused on what pushes us apart or whether we commit ourselves to an effort, a sustained effort to find common ground. To focus on the future we seek for our children, and to respect the dignity of all human beings. –President Obama (Cairo Egypt, June 4, 2009).

Welcome to the fourth installment of Presidential Watch Sunday. I would like to thank the White House and Chuck Kennedy (An Official White House Photographer) for giving us unprecedented access to photos of the United States Presidency and I would like to thank MSNBC for sharing the video of President Obama's unprecedented speech.

On June 4, 2009, President Obama gave an amazing speech at Cairo University in Egypt on the subject of the relationship between the Muslim world and the United States. In the photo below, we see President Obama as he enters the auditorium to deliver his speech.

U.S. President Obama spoke at Cairo University in Egypt on Thursday, June 4, 2009. In this speech, President Obama called for "A new beginning between the United States and Muslims', declaring that 'this cycle of suspicion and discord must end."
