Sometimes when I am researching a story, I come across one of my old stories that is so cool and timeless I feel like I have to bring it up to the top of Jake's Rolex World, which is the case with this cool post I originally published a dozen years ago in 2012:
Denzel Washington is one of the greatest actors of our time having been nominated for 9 Academy Awards, and and having won the coveted Best Actor Oscar for Training Day in 2002. Denzel and Rolex have a great deal in common as they are both timeless, instantly recognizable and highly iconic.
My pal James from WatchesInMovies.info sent me a message to let me know he just put up a post with images of Denzel Washington sporting a stainless steel Rolex Submariner from the 1996 movie "Courage Under Fire."
It appears, in the photo above and below, that Denzel Washington's Rolex Submariner is suffering from the same "Pulled Winding Crown" syndrome as Robert Redford's stainless steel Rolex from the 1976 movie "All The Presidents Men"!!!
