Ben took this photo at BaselWorld in Switzerland that shows the all-new Rolex Explorer II that Rolex just debuted, next to its great-grandfather, which is the original "Orange Hand" Explorer from 1971 known which is a Reference 1655, which is affectionately known by collectors as the "Freccione."

I for one, love the new design. As someone who wore the original 1655 explorer II for about 7 years, I can appreciate the subtle throw back to the original.
This is the first new Rolex design to really get me excited in a long time.
