The Great Gatsby was another mega-hit that was based upon a screenplay written by Francis Ford Coppala that was based upon the novel by the same title written by F. Scott Fitzgerald.


If you have not seen The Great Gatsby, I highly recommend it, and it is considered to be one of the great classic films.

Sundance Film Festival

Robert Redford purchased an entire ski resort on the east side of Mount Impanogos located on the north-east side of Provo, Utah which he renamed Sundance. Redford founded the Sundance Film Festival in order to cater to independent filmmakers in the U.S. and has achieved significant recognition from the movie industry as venue for film debuts.

Of course the name Sundance comes from his character of the Sundance Kid in Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid. In 2008 the Sundance Film Festival featured 125 feature-length films from 34 countries, and more than 50,000 people attended.
