Alex Rodriguez - Jennifer Lopez: Powerful Couple

 By DANNY CRIVELLO

They both started from humble beginnings, growing up in the Bronx and finding fame young. After marriages, divorces and children, the actress and the baseball pro finally found each other in their late forties.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez first met at "his office," a Yankees game in 2005.

Alexander Rodriguez, nicknamed "A-Rod," played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball, including seven seasons with the Seattle Mariners, three seasons with the Texas Rangers and twelve seasons with the New York Yankees. Rodriguez is considered to be one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He is now engaged to the actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer and businesswoman Jennifer Lopez.

Alex Rodriguez wears a Day-Date 40 in Platinum, one of the densest and heaviest metals in the world, striking with its whiteness and luminosity. Below, in Paris.

The Day-Date—the watch worn “by more presidents, leaders, and visionaries,” according to Rolex—is already one of the brand’s higher-echelon models. Alex Rodriguez’s Day-Date is a notch above the standard president-favorite model: it trades out the typical ridged bezel for this super clean platinum one. It’s the same style Jay Z wore to the NBA Finals.

So maybe Rolex’s line needs an addendum: the Day-Date may be the watch worn by leaders but A-plus-plus-plus listers reach for it in platinum.

The Day-Date 40's movement, the calibre 3255, is entirely developed by Rolex and touts 14 patents.

Last March Alex Rodriguez asked Jennifer Lopez to marry him.

J.Lo has always been ambition personified. She is the first Latina woman in Hollywood to make over $1 million on a single film. And she continues to be relevant. Next month, she will be performing at the Superbowl Half-time Show.
