Rolex President v Datejust
Incase you missed the most recent U.S. Presidential debate, you can watch it below.
Ironically, both Present Trump and President Biden both wear Rolex watches. In the photo below we see the Teflon Don, rocking his yellow gold Rolex Day-Date 'Presidential' before he ascended to the U.S. Presidency.
So just like President Eisenhower (pictured below), Trump wore a Rolex President before being elected, but Eisenhower wore a Rolex Datejust. Both the Rolex Datejust and Day-Date models have been considered Rolex political tool watches for many decades.
Speaking of Rolex President's rocking Rolex watches, President Biden showed up at his inauguration rocking a stainless steel Rolex Datejust that his wife gave him as a congratulatory gift, as seen below in his wrist during his inauguration swearing in ceremony and speech.
Also, speaking of President Biden rocking Rolex, the photo below of him, taken in the Oval Office in the White House, is definitively the most presidential looking Rolex image I have seen to date.
Speaking of Rolex Presidential looking images, the 1966 Rolex Magazine ad comes to mind.
There is a fascinating backstory behind the Rolex Magazine ad pictured above for 'The president's watch', which I cover in my upcoming Rolex History book series, which has to do with President Johnson, who is pictured below.
Like Father, Like Son
Speaking of U.S. President's rocking Rolex, it's interesting to see some of their sons also rocking Rolex. In the photo below we see President Eisenhower's son, John Eisenhower rocking his yellow gold Rolex Datejust just like his father's Rolex model.
Below we see Hunter Biden posing with his father, while rocking his Batman GMT-Master.

Donald Sutherland Belongs to the Ages
Donald Sutherland
Belongs to the Ages
1935-2024
Legendary, distinguished and unusually charismatic Canadian actor, Donald Sutherland passed away yesterday at age 88, leaving behind an amazing film legacy that spanned 6 decades. In his career he was awarded many accolades, which included two Golden Globe Awards, as well as a Primetime Emmy, as well as a BAFTA Award nomination.
He is also considered to be one of the best actors to never have been nominated for an Academy Award, but despite this fact, he received an Academy Honorary Award in 2017.
Donald Sutherland starred in the war film, The Dirty Dozen (1967), and went on to appear in M*A*S*H (1970). My most vivid recollections of Donald Sutherland were in Animal House (1978), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), Ordinary People (1980), and most prominently starring as Mr. X in the 1991 JFK movie.
Donald Sutherland's son, Kiefer Sutherland is also an extremely famous actor, and is perhaps best know for his starring role as Jack Bauer on the Fox megabit drama series titled "24", which ran from 2001-2010, 2024), for which he won a Golden Globe Award as well as a Primetime Emmy Award. As Jack Bauer, on 24, he famously wore a Rolex SEA-DWELLER as pictured below.
Kiefer Sutherland is also a famous movie star and is known for roles he played in movies like Stand by Me (1986), and A Few Good Men (1992).

Federer Twelve Final Days...
FEDERER
TWELVE FINAL DAYS
Feature-length Documentary
Rolex sponsored the making of an amazing new documentary on tennis legend, Roger Federer's final days of his professional tennis playing career. The Federer documentary is available for watching exclusively on Amazon Prime beginning today, on June 20th.
"Federer: Twelve Final Days" was directed by esteemed directors Asia Kapadia, and Joe Sabia, and examines Roger Federer's last days of his amazing tennis career achievements as the 20-time Grand Slam Champion. Much of the film chronicles occur during his participation nine months earlier in September of 2022 during the Laver Cup.
As you can see, there are a zillion video clips of Rocking Roger sporting his magnificent harem of Rolex watches. In this next video, we see Rocking Roger reacting to watching scenes from his documentary.
When I began publishing Jake's Rolex World, back in 2008, I believe Roger Federer had recently become an official Rolex brand ambassador, or as they say in Rolex parlance, a "Rolex Testimony". Below is an early Roger Federer Rolex ad I published in 2009:
I've been contemplating consolidating all my Roger Federer stories into one, which I might do in the future.

Rolex X-Files...Wally Schirra
1. The Rolex Crown Coronet Logo on the winding Crown. 2. The drilled lug holes which Omega lacked. 3. The Screw Down plungers. 4. The riveted Rolex Oyster Bracelet.
After a great deal of investigation Nick Gould (@Niccoloy) made another major discovery that enhances the detail (pun intended) in this story. Nick reached out to Philip from MoonWatchUniverse to ask him if he had a higher-resolution NASA photo of Apollo 7 Astronaut, Wally Schirra, and you are looking at the result below. This photo is taken from a slightly different angle and reveals that Wally Schirra was indeed wearing a Rolex Daytona Reference 6240 with a silver dial with black Subdials as we see below:
Recently we took a look at NASA Astronaut, Frank Borman and today we are going to take a look at another famous Astronaut. Wally Schirra was one of the original Mercury Astronauts and he wore a Pepsi GMT-Master as we will see in this story. Schirra was not only the first astronaut to travel into space three times, but the first ONLY one to have flown in the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions! The photo below of Wally Schirra with his family was taken on October 10, 1968, which was the day before he took off aboard Apollo 7.
This next image shows Wally Schirra during capsule testing for Gemini 6A.
This next photo was also taken on October 23, 1968 shows Wally Schirra with fellow Apollo 7 Astronaut, Walter Cunningham, and we see Schirra rockin' his GMT-Master.
Walter v. Walter
We have these special Rolex watches!"
Below we see a photo of Wally Schirra taken toward the end of his life and we see he was still wearing his Pepsi Rolex GMT-Master.
