One Of The Best NATO Band Shots of All Time...

Tropical NATO Perfection

This is a superb shot of a non-date Stainless Steel Rolex on a NATO strap.  In many ways, I think the dateless sub looks better on a NATO strap.  Something about the extreme simplicity.

Also, this is not a normal NATO strap.  It is a cross-braided tropical NATO.  Very cool, masculine, sporty and handsome...

Rolex Competitors Corner: George Clooney for Omega...

From time to time we will explore Rolex competitors (not that there are any).

I think this is a great Omega Advertisement and I think George Clooney is a really cool, charismatic and often funny dude...

Photoshop Fun: Rolex GMT II-Ceramic Sprite...

Yesterday we were examining what a Supercase GMT II Ceramic would look like with different color bezels.

Here is a Sprite GMT.  I like the color combo...

The Original Rolex Sea Dweller Deep Sea...

This is not a Joke.  This is the first Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller.  The reason it has a perfectly domed crystal is because a sphere is much stronger than a flat surface.

The famous architect, Buchmininster Fuller was the first person to really illustrate this principle in architecture with the Geodesic Dome.  If I am recalling my design history correctly, this evidence came from the design of a chicken egg.

Try this experiment to better understand this principle.  Place a chickens egg in between your hands.  Make certain the top point of the egg is resting against one palm and the bottom base is facing your other palm.  Now apply as much pressure as you can, and you will learn that you can't smash the egg because it is stronger than you.
