American journalist, Tucker Carlson just published his interview with Russian President Putin. They had a fascinating conversation which began with Putin offering a 30 minute history of Russia. Tucker and Putin then covered many interesting topics, and had some heated moments. I could not help but notice Tucker wearing his Rolex Datejust.

The Rolex Datejust began it's life not just being the archetype of the modern dress Rolex watch, but also as a technological powerhouse with many technological firsts including the first model with a date aperture window, as well as the first Rolex model to feature the Cyclops date magnifier window.

In a twist of fate, after World War II ended, General Dwight D. Eisenhower was the first Supreme Commander of NATO and in 1948 began wearing his Datejust which was the 150,000th Officially Certified Swiss Chronometer.
