2010 Tour de France Underway
Lance Armstrong's Last Hurrah?

The 20 Stage, or the 97th running of the 2010 Tour de France cycling race just passed the half-way point. The race began with 198 cyclists comprising 22 teams of 9. It began in Rotterdam and will end 2,263 miles (3,642 kilometers) later in Paris on the Champs-Elysees on July 25.

This first stunning group image was taken by Bryn Lennon of Getty Images and shows the 2010 Tour de France getting underway on July 6, 2010.


This next amazing image was taken by Bas Czerwinski from AP Photo on July 14, 2010 and it shows the racers as they jam toward Gap, France.


The image below is of Lance Armstrong on July 3, 2010 as he completes the 8.9km individual time trial run around Rotterdam and was taken by Pascal Pavani of AFP-Getty Images.


This next image of Lance Armstrong shows Lance Armstrong on July 6, 2010 with dirt all over his face as he races on the third stage of the Tour de France. The image was taken by Joel Saget of Reuters.
