Greatest Interviewer In History

Over the seven years I have been publishing Jake's Rolex World, there have been certain famous people who I have seen, and thought, why don't they wear a Rolex? They would look great with a Rolex! One such person, I always hoped to see wearing a Rolex was Charlie Rose, but he always only wore skinny dress watches with his Ralph Lauren suits. Recently, I was watching Charlie Rose, and I was shocked to see him rockin' a Rolex DEEP-SEA SEA-DWELLER, D-Blue Dial Edition!!!

Charlie Rose is not only one of my role-models, but is arguably the greatest interview in history! Now if I could just find a photo of Cary Grant wearing a Rolex, I would feel like I chronicled every super-cool guy in history that ever wore a Rolex!

Rolex recently introduced the Rolex DEEP-SEA SEA-DWELLER D-Blue Dial Edition, and I covered it extensively.

I was watching Charlie Rose interview Apple CEO Tim Cook, and in the second part of the interview, when he is done interviewing Tim Cook, he next interviews industrial designer Yves Behar, which was where I noticed Charlie wearing his Rolex DEEP-SEA.

Ironically, the Tim Cook's very passionate interview begins with a discussion of the Apple Watch, which I have been covering extensively on Jake's Rolex World.

Steve Wynn is more responsible for building modern Las Vegas than any other man, and he is an extremely talented designer and business man. As you see in the photo below, he wears a platinum Rolex Day-Date with an ice blue dial.

The video below is AMAZING!!!!!!!! The speech Steve Wynn gives in this interview is one of the most inspirational speeches I have ever seen. I remember when I first saw it–Steve blew my mind!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend you watch it.

This next video is of an earlier Charlie Rose interview of Steve Wynn which is also fascinating and tells more of the story of how he built his empire. I noticed if you close your eyes and listen to Steve Wynn speak, his voice often sounds like Ronald Reagan speaking.

Steve Wynn was recently interviewed again by his great pal, Charlie Rose on 60 Minutes, which I also recommend.

I had a chance to visit the Rolex Store at the Wynn Hotel earlier this year and I was blown away with how beautiful it was!!! I took some photos, and the first one below shows the Rolex Wynn & Company logo on the wall when you first walk in. The Wynn Rolex store had an amazing selection of Rolex watches and the employees were extremely professional and nice.
 

I took the photo below in the foyer at the Wynn, which was decorated to celebrate Chinese New Year. I must say The Wynn completely blew my mind with how beautiful and elegant it was. I have never seen such a beautiful hotel in my life. It was simply breathtaking!!!!

I have been working on my detailed iPad review for Jake's Rolex World and it is going well. I have also been experimenting with optimizing Jake's Rolex World for viewing on the iPad which is a huge challenge =(
I posted this first video of the 2 year-year-old girl's first experience with the iPad earlier this week, and I decided to ad it to this story to contrast just how intuitive it is for a 2 year old girl and 66 year old man. I also included this second video of Charlie Rose discussing the iPad because I realize there are many people who don't understand exactly what the iPad is and what it does.

Charlie Rose is 66 years old and he seems to be as smitten with the all-new iPad as the 2 year old girl in the above video!!! I think this huge age delta just goes to show how universal the iPad's appeal is!!!
