Customized Stainless Rolex Daytona Meteorite Dial Daytona

Once again, a Rolex you cannot purchase from Rolex, but very, very, very cool!!!

Just to be clear, you can buy a White Gold Daytona with a Meteorite Dial, but this one is a Stainless Daytona with a Meteorite Dial.

It belongs to my Pal and it cost him $5000 just for the Meteorite Dial!!!

Photoshop Fun: GMT II Ceramic Super Case with Maxi Markers in Many Colors...

What if Rolex made the newest GMT II Ceramic with the Super Case and Maxi Markers with Bezels in colors other than black?  What would they look like?

I think GMT would look awesome with a Solid Cobalt Blue Bezel as pictured above...

I also think it would look great with a 7UP Green Bezel like the LV Submariner...

Cherry Coke would be great also...

And last but not least, Pepsi would be awesome.  Actually a Vanilla Pepsi would be off the hook Cool!!!!!

More Photoshop Fun: A Few More...

J.B.K. (Hannes) from the German Rolex Forum was wondering what the Ceramic GMT would look like with a Pepsi dial so he created the top image which I saw several weeks ago. It made me wonder what it would look like with a Coke Bezel so I had some Photoshop Fun and modified his image and created the second graphic at the bottom.

All I can say is that I really hope Rolex comes out with these bezels because they look so cool!!!

Follow Up on Pan Am White GMT IIs

PCS's beautifully customized watches really made me think:

I really like them and I knew Rolex made the Pepsi with a white dial as seen in the fourth images below, but I did not realize they also originally made the black bezel with the white dial as well.

The watches above are GMT II Rolex Watches with Rolex Explorer II white dials.  The watch below is an original 1959 Pan AM GMT with a white dial and black bezel.  So basically when I was saying that I loved the Black Bezel GMT with a White Dial and that Rolex should make this watch, I did not realize they did make it 45 years ago as Reference Number 6542.

I did some research on the original white dial GMTs and it turns out they are extremely rare and if you can find one for sale they have a current market value of at least $100,000.
