I thought I would change it up a little bit this Thanksgiving by taking a heartwarming look back at one of the most famous curmudgeons in history, Archie Bunker, played brilliantly by Carroll O'Connor.

The original "All in the Family" TV series was the brainchild of Norman Lear, and ran from 1971 to 1979. As a child I remember enjoying many episodes of this amazing show. My Aunt Dora Jane who raised me LOVED watching All in the family and I remember she once profoundly quipped, "There is a little Archie Bunker in all of us!"

The opening intro and outro from All in the Family is one of the most iconic TV song intros in History...particularly if you are old enough to remember having watch the show back when it aired on TV...
