Red, White, Blue & Black Honeycomb Dial TIME-MACHINE

Honeycomb Dial TIME-MACHINE

The Rolex LAND-DWELLER’s bold case and seamlessly integrated bracelet have sparked a surge of inspiration, driving me to explore the endless possibilities within its design language.

This isn’t just a watch—it’s a canvas. In my latest experiment, I’ve incorporated a contrasting ramped chapter ring into the Honeycomb Dial TIME-MACHINE, a feature that elevates the design with striking depth and a nod to the legendary Rolex Paul Newman Daytona. The result?

A captivating blend of modern innovation and vintage charisma, where sharp lines and vibrant high-contrast primary jewel tone colors—red, white, blue, and black—converge to create a timepiece that feels both cutting-edge and timelessly iconic.

This first model features a deep ruby red honeycomb dial, with a black ramped chapter ring, which looks so sporty.

Next I crated a white honeycomb dial with a black chapter ring with red 5 minute marker accents, which gives it more of a Paul Newman Exotic dial Datyona kind of vibe.
Next up a created a honeycomb dial that fades from a rich cobalt blue into a black, which is kind of reminiscent of the DEEP-SEA D-BLUE dial.
Last up we have the black honeycomb dial version which give the watch an ultra modernized Rolex Explorer kind of vibe which I love.

I love the design of Rolex's new LAND-DWELLER case with integrated flat Jubilee bracelet, and the more I think about it, the more it makes sense that this model is likely positioned to be Rolex's experimental model, where they can really push the envelope and experiment with different vibes and innovative new technology that might end up in all other Rolex models.

I find this to also be very exciting as this is the first real Rolex model we have see that has been launched since the Sky-Dweller, but the Land-Dweller design language is way more deeply rooted in classic Rolex design.
