Reviews Rolex 41MM Datejust
Yellow Gold & Stainless Steel: Reference 126333
Ariel Adams from A Blog To Watch just published an excellent review of Rolex's newer 41MM Two-Tone Rolex Datejust, which I highly recommend checking out!
Arial Adams is an old pal of mine. Arial Adams and Benjamin Clymer from Hodinkee and I all started our watch blogs within several months of each other, almost ten years ago—man how time flies!?!! The three of us, along with James Dowling from Timezone.com were the first journalists to be invited to tour all four Rolex manufacturing facilities in Switzerland—back in 2013.
I can only speak for myself, but visiting Rolex as like a child visiting Disneyland for the first time, or as I mentioned in my "INSIDE ROLEX: Exploring What Makes Rolex Tick" story, I felt like Charlie having won the Golden Ticket to tour Willie Wonka's Chocolate Factory. It was crazy cool!!! All of us even got to work on putting together part of a new Rolex. Specifically, each of us installed a set of hands on different Rolex Submariner models. It is funny to think their are Rolex Submariner models on people's wrists somewhere on planet earth that had their hands installed either by Benjamin Clymer, James Dowling, Ariel Adams, or by your truly :-)

Why Rolex Watches Are The Most Reputable Consumer Products In The World According To Industry Study
Why Rolex Watches Are The Most Reputable Consumer Products In The World According To Industry Study
By Ariel Adams
My pal, Ariel Adams is the founding editor and publisher of A Blog To Watch, and he recently wrote an article for Forbes named "Why Rolex Watches Are The Most Reputable Consumer Products In the World According To Industry Study."
I really enjoyed reading Ariel's highly informative article that points out that Rolex is tied with the BMW Group for second place on the Global RepTrak 100 World's Most Reputable Companies, just behind the two companies that tied for first place, which are The Walt Disney Company, and Google. Sony took fifth place, Canon 6th place, Apple in 7th place, Daimler (Mercedes-Benz) in eight place, Lego in ninth, and Samsung and Microsoft tied for tenth place.
Ariel Adams profoundly pointed out: "My own observations find that many consumers view a Rolex timepiece an item to reward themselves with upon achieving some level of personal success. That is distinct from a mere status item, which is about a consumer wearing or owning something that communicates success to others. No doubt many consumers are interested in showing off their perceived success to others, but what makes a Rolex product unique is that many consumers feel owning one is a personal gift to themselves. That suggests a very high-level of reputation and deep personal relationship consumers have with what a Rolex product means to them emotionally, as opposed to its strict utilitarian value as a timepiece or jewelry item."
I highly recommend reading Ariel's fascinating article on Forbes, named Why Rolex Watches Are The Most Reputable Consumer Products In The World According To Industry Study.

Ariel Adams Interview
Omega Coolness: Stephen Urquhart
CEO of Omega Watches
My pal Ariel Adams is the publisher of A Blog To Read and earlier this year, at BaselWorld he had the opportunity to interview Stephen Urquhart, who is the CEO of Omega Watches. I really enjoyed the interview and I was extremely impressed with Stephen Urquhart depth of knowledge, and he certainly is a brilliant conversationalist.
Toward the end of the interview, Stephen Urquhart speaks about Bertrand Piccard's exciting project to build and fly a solar powered airplane around the world.
