Rolex Hand In Glove: Yellow Gold Daytona

Dynamic Duo: Milgauss Black and White Dials Side By Side...

Here we have a great comparison shot of the GV Milgauss with the green synthetic sapphire crystal with the black dial next to the white dial version.

I wonder what the white dial version would look like with the green crystal? If anybody has one please send in a picture to rolexblog@gmail.com.

The Milgauss family and the Captian Marvel family one in the same? All I have to say is Shazaaaaaaam!!!!!!!

Rolex Hotness: Uma Thurman...

Uma Thurman is an extremely talented actress and she is also a gorgeous woman. She seems to wear a lot of Rolex watches.  In this photo she seems to be wearing a mans Rolex Datejust.

Photoshop Fun: Blueberry Sub...And Real Blueberry Milkshake GMT..

We just saw a 1970 Rolex GMT (Reference 1675) with an all blue bezel and Maxi Markers that sold through Christie's Auction house for over $30,000.  Why not create a sub with a blue bezel.  I think it looks great...Just to be clear, the watch above is a factory made Rolex GMT Master and the one below is an LV Sub that I changes the dial color to blue on.

Remember This Rolex Yellow Gold Day-Date from the 1980s?

I think this is very close to the Rolex Day-Date that the character named Sal "Big Pussy" Bonponsiero (played by Vincent Pastore) wore in the Sopranos.

I remember this Yellow Gold Rolex Day-Date with the red dial with diamonds and matching diamond bezel was popular in the 1980s.

Wildlife Biologist Jeff Corwin The Ultimate Explorer Wearing His Stainless Rolex Submariner...

Jeff Corwin of Corwin's Quest fame is the ultimate explorer and nature conservationist. As you can see in these pictures, Jeff is wearing his trademark Rolex Submariner.

Jeff is like Marlin Perkins and Jacques Cousteau combined, and is the ultimate explorer.

Recently he filmed a special with Anderson Cooper called  Planet in Peril where they explore all over the world together.  Anderson Cooper also wears a Rolex GMT, not in these pictures, but you can see him wearing it if you click here.

Click on all these great photos for High-Resolution images.

Here is a great CNN video you can watch with Jeff Corwin & Anderson Cooper.

Great Rolex Submariner Photo...

President Johnson Wearing a Rolex President...

In this photo President of the United States, Lyndon Johnson is sitting between Dean Rusk and Robert McNamara in a Cabinet Room Meeting in February of 1968.  Of course,  President Johnson is wearing his trademark Rolex Day-date in Yellow Gold.

I am working on a Definitive Rolex Series on the History of American Presidents wearing Rolex watches, which will be fascinating.  Lyndon Johnson wore Rolex Watches for decades.

Rolex Wrist Shot of the Day: Yellow Gold GMT II Ceramic Black Dial & Bezel

One of my favorite design features of the new GMT Ceramic is how flat is sits on your wrist.

I think the ideal design objective is to make the watch look like it is part of your wrist and since this watch has no bubble-back whatsoever it lays completely flat.

This is one good looking watch...
