In the interview below, Wei Koh interviews Geoffrey Hess who is the CEO of AnalogShift.com and they have a really deep conversation in the current state of collecting vintage watches.

Wei Koh Has A Fascinating Lunch Conversation with Jean-Claude Biver
I have a real treat for you today!!! Two of my favorite people in the world of Horology sat down recently in Singapore and enjoyed a meal and an amazing conversation. The conversation was between Jean-Claude Biver, and Wei Koh, who are both amazing revolutionaries in there own right. Wei Koh is the Founding Editor and Publisher of Revolution Magazine, and if you look closely in the video Wei is wearing a Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze.

If you are not familiar with Revolution Magazine, it is by far and away the best horological magazine ever published. Not only is the content and photography superb, but the magazine is oversized an the quality of the paper and printing is second to none. Wei Koh also publishes Revolution.Watch, which is an equally amazing online horological Magazine. Several months ago I collaborated with Revolution.Watch on my exclusive Stan Barrett Rolex History Story. Stan Barrett was best friends with Paul Newman, and also was the first man to set the land speed record of breaking the speed of sound in 1979.
In the video above, Wei Koh interviews horological maven, Jean-Claude Biver. John-Claude Biver is the head of all watches for LVMH, as well as being the CEO of Tag Heuer. Prior to his current position, Biver was the CEO of Hublot, and is perhaps best known for reinventing the Omega and Blancpain brands. 
Wei Koh and John-Claude Biver discuss the future of Smart Watches, which is a fascinating subject. This conversation came at an amazing time as Tag Heuer recently announced they were the very first Swiss watch company to setup offices in Silicon Valley, to be close to their strategic partner, Intel. This is profound news, as Tag Heuer sold more than 60,000 of their Connected Watches so far this year! Hodinkee.com recently published a great story on this brilliant move. 
The Swiss Watch Industry in many ways is a small world. As a matter of fact, the current CEO of Rolex, Jean-Frédéric Dufour is a protege of Jean-Claude Biver. In the video below we see Jean-Frédéric Dufour when he was the CEO of Zenith, giving a presentation to Wei Koh several years ago.

As I mentioned earlier in this story, Wei Koh is wearing a Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze, which is a very interesting new watch Tudor recently introduced at BaselWorld. If you are not familiar with the Tudor brand, it is owned by Rolex. The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze model Wei Koh is wearing in the interview is pictured below.
