In 2005, Cristina Mittermeier coined the term “conservation photography”, which she has championed ever since. Today, through stunning visual storytelling paired with scientific knowledge, she is an unwavering voice for protecting our natural world. She has gained international recognition for her powerful pictures, which tell the ocean’s story, drawing attention to its fragility.
