Rush Limbaugh passed away today at the age of 70. Rush was an prolific conservative radio personality who had a nationally syndicated TV show from 1992 to 1996. Rush tended to be outspoken on many different issues and ironically lost his hearing ability in 2001, which explains the device seen above his ear in the photo above. Rush's death was attributed by his wife as being related to lung cancer from smoking cigarettes and cigars.
Rush Limbaugh wore a number of different Rolex watches including a yellow gold Day-Date (pictured above), as well as a Rolex Day-Date Masterpiece with a meteorite dial with diamonds as we see on his wrist in the photo below as well as in the first photo in this story.
Rolling Stones Founding Member & Base Player RootBeer Rolex GMT-Master Two-Tone Reference 1675
Who is the greatest Rock and Roll band in history? Some would say the Beatles, and some would say the Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones certainly have much greater longevity, and after all, there is something to be said for longevity and endurance—both of which Rolex and The Rolling Stones have in common. So what happens when you mix together a Rolex and a Rolling Stone? You get Bill Wyman who is one of the original Rolling Stones, and he remains the oldest founding member at 84 years of age today!
Bellow we see two very early photo of the Rolling Stones taken at the Marquee on July 12, 1962.
Bill Wyman is pictured below in the bottom right hand corner. We see (from top to bottom) guitarist Brian Jones on top with the blond hair, and to his right we see lead vocals singer Mick Jagger. On the next row we see keyboardist Ian Stewart, guitarist Keith Richards, drummer Charlie Watts, and bass player Bill Wyman. It is worth noting that JFK was still President of The United States when this photo was taken.
It is worth noting that Ian Robert Stewart was kind of the Pete Best of the Rolling Stones. He was born in 1938 and passed away in 1985. Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham removed him from the Rolling Stones line-up in May of 1963, since he didn't think his image worked well with the Rolling Stones identity. Ian Stewart stayed on as the Rolling sones pianist and road manager, and went on to work with Led Zeppelin. The Rolling Stones are pictured below in 1964, with Bill Wyman in the middle, in front of Charlie Watts and Ron Wood, and behind Mick Jagger and Brian Jones.
Bill Wyman is pictured below in the later 1960s with fellow Rolling Stones founding band member, (from left to right): Charlie Watts, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, and Brian Jones. Brian Jones passed away from a drug overdose in 1969.
Mick Jagger and Bill Wyman are pictured below in 1972 on an airplane.
Bill Wyman is pictured below two decades later in the 1980s with fellow Rolling Stones band members, (from left to right): Charlie Watts, Keith Richards (or "Keif", if you have a Michael Caine Cockney Accent :-) Mick Jagger, Ron Wood, and Bill Wyman. Ron Wood joined the Rolling Stones in 1975.
The photo below is of two-tone Rolex GMT-Master Reference 1675, which I believe is identical to the one Bill Wyman wears.
This mode features nipple indices and a matching gold 24 hour hand. I believe it is the same Rolex Model he is seen wearing in the two photos below, which were both taken in 1975.
This photo above of Bill Wyman was taken in Amsterdam in 1975, and the one below was taken in The United States during the Rolling Stones "1975 Tour Of The Americas".
The photo below is from the cover artwork on the Rolling Stones seminal 1976 Album titled Black and Blue.
Andrew Oldham who was a Rolling Stones former manager once said, "Bill Wyman is the most at peace with himself." Bill Wyman is an amateur archaeologist and has a hobby of Relic hunting.
Bill Wyman is pictured below with his second wife Mandy Smith, and in an ironic twist of fate her mother Patsy is married to Bill Wyman's son, Stephen Wyman. Turns out reality is stranger than fiction.
Bill Wyman is pictured below with his current wife, Suzanne Accosta and notice she is wearing a ladies Rolex Datejust.
In the video interview below we see Bill Wyman wearing his Two-Tone Rolex GMT-Master.
In the recent photo below, we see Bill Wyman wearing his Rolex GMT-Master. He has worn this Rolex now for at least 40 years!!!
Bill Wyman retired from the Rolling Stones in 1993, and in 2002 published an amazing book I own, named "Rolling With The Stones". Bill Wyman rejoined the Rolling Stones for their 50th Anniversary in 2012 for one night only.
I once heard a rumor that both U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman wore Rolex watches. Of course, I spent a zillion hours looking for examples of them wearing Rolex watches, but to date the first U.S. President I documented wearing a Rolex was Dwight Eisenhower. When Nick Gould recently shared the following images with me of former First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt wearing a Rolex Oyster Perpetual, I almost fell out of my chair. Nick mentioned Charlie Dunne shared them with him.
Eleanor Roosevelt is pictured below with her husband, President Roosevelt on January 20, 1941 as they return to the White House following his third term election.
Eleanor Roosevelt was one of the most beloved First Ladies of The United States and in the photo below we see the U.S. Presidents and First Ladies attending here funeral. From left to right we see Lady Bird Johnson, Jaqueline & John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Baines Johnson, Harry Truman, as well as Mamie and Dwight Eisenhower.
The only other former First Lady I recall seeing wearing a Rolex was Hillary Clinton who is pictured below wearing her two-tone Rolex Ladies Datejust on a Jubilee bracelet.
In today's Super Bowl LV (55th) Tom Brady stepped into history to become the first quarterback in history to shatter his own record again to win 7 Super Bowls. Keep in mind this was after he set the all time record to become the first quarterback to win 5 and 6 Super Bowls, and now he has won 7!! This is likely a record that will NEVER be broken again by anybody, expect perhaps Tom Brady himself.
Todays win represented the 10th Super Bowl Tom Brandy has played in so his record is 7 out of 10 wins. Tom Brady also won the 53rd Super Bowl as we see in the photos below.

Pictured above we see Tom Brady in Super-bowl 50. It was the first Super Bowl in 50 years of history that went into overtime, and in the most dramatic fashion, the New England Patriots pulled off what could easily be called a miracle.
Rolex Day-Date
Tom Brady is pictured below wearing his Rolex Day-Date on a President Bracelet.
Rolex Milgauss
Tom Brady is pictured below wearing his 50th Anniversary GV Rolex Milgauss, which has the classic green sapphire crystal and orange lighting-bolt hand.
In the photos above Tom Brady is wearing his 50th Anniversary GV Rolex Milgauss on a Rolex Oyster Bracelet, and in the photo below from a GQ photo shoot, he is wearing his Milgauss on a black alligator strap.
The photo below is of a 50th Anniversary Rolex Milgauss which is the same model Tom Brady is wearing in the photos above. It is an unusual looking watch in the sense it has a bright Kelly green sapphire crystal coupled with an orange lightning bolt second hand.
Tom Brady is married to Brazilian super-leggy-model Gisele Bündchen, and the are pictured below together.
Historically Rolex has always been extremely secretive and discreet, and no journalists in the past have ever been invited "INSIDE ROLEX" to explore and report on all four Rolex Manufacturing faclities in Switzerland.
In November 2013, this changed when Rolex invited Jake to take an unprecdented journey into the heart of Rolex to learn and report on everything he witnessed and learned.
This Super-Detailed 3 Part Story is a "MUST READ" story for anybody who wants to understand what really makes Rolex tick.
