3, 6, 9 'Explorer' Dial Rolex Submariner
The unusual Rolex Submariner with the 3, 6, 9 'Explorer' appears to have been made for the British market. This was not the first time Rolex made a Submariner with such a dial as they had made one a decade earlier, but neither ever went anywhere. My opinion is that the 3, 6, and 9 markers on the dial conflicted and clashed with the Arabic numbers on the bezel. This model featured a Rolex Reference number of 5512/5513, and they are very rare and expensive.
