We Want Your Design Opinion!?!
Jake's Rolex Watch Blog 3.0

We are working on a big design overhaul on the user interface for Jake's Rolex Watch Blog which will make it easier to find what you are looking for and give you an overall more enjoyable experience.

I think you should loose the and buy yourself a decent domain. ;) If you're interested, I own and would give you a great price since I love your blog so much.

Also, please back up everything when upgrading! Your material is unreplaceable! :) Thank you for keeping Rolex, that much more interesting!

Please increase the size of the type that directs the reader to earlier posts. I know where to find it now, but it was very easily overlooked.

Hi Mash,

That is one of the things we are working on. We are making them huge blue buttons so you can't miss them.

Also, I am planning to swap the buttons around so that when you get to the end of the first page the "Older Posts" button will be on the left and when you reach the bottom of the second page the "Newer Posts" will be on the right, which makes 100 times more sense to me!!!!

Going back in time on a timeline is to the left, not the right. I am glad to learn I am not the only one who can't stand the almost invisible "Older Posts" text link.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what the people at blogger do to design this half-baked UI.

I'm thinking it might be a good idea, before I get under the hood with CSS and HTML to share the design reference improvements with everybody, just to make certain it all makes sense.
