Henry Kissinger passed away today at the age of 100 years old, which is amazing if you think about it. Henry Kissinger died at age 100 and was born Heinz Alfred Kissinger in 1923 in what is now considered to be Germany. Kissinger is a Jewish refugee who fled Nazi Germany in 1938 with his family who came to the United States. Kissinger graduated summa cum laude from Harvard college in 1950 with a BA degree and a PhD in 1954, and went on to become a politician, diplomat and geopolitical consultant. In 1973, Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his negotiations for the ceasefire in Vietnam.
Kissinger served as Secretary of State and was a National Security Adviser to Presidents Nixon and Ford.
