Rolex Diplomat Virtuoso
& Nobel Peace Prize Winner
Henry Kissinger
Yellow Gold Rolex Day-Date
Captain Danny and I have been working with a really fascinating historian on a big Rolex GMT-Master history story that is pretty mind-blowing. Captain Danny introduced me by offering an extremely gracious compliment when he said:
"Jake is the best Rolex historian there is and he'll likely forget more about the brand than I'll ever know."
There is some truth to this as I do tend to forget a lot of stuff, and this article is a specific example in the sense that Nick Gould shared this image with me of Henry Kissinger rocking a yellow gold Day-Date a long time ago, and I apparently completely forgot about it, which is very embarrassing, but as they say: better-late-than-never!?!!

Henry Kissinger is 99 years old today and was born Heinz Alfred Kissinger in 1923 in what is now considered to be Germany. Kissinger is a Jewish refugee who fled Nazi Germany in 1938 with his family who came to the United States. Kissinger graduated summa cum laude from Harvard college in 1950 with a BA degree and a PhD in 1954, and went on to become a politician, diplomat and geopolitical consultant. In 1973, Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his negotiations for the ceasefire in Vietnam.
Kissinger served as Secretary of State and was a National Security Adviser to Presidents Nixon and Ford.
In the future I will expand this article and go into much more detail on Henry Kissinger's career achievement, but in the meantime I thought it would be interesting to check out his recent interview where he shares his perspective on world affairs:
